Gift Giving Part 3 - The Bestie

What an amazing & relaxing week it's been. I enjoyed every single second of my time with family & am so grateful for the joy that they bring to my life. 

But to be completely honest - I am so excited to start posting again! As I was out shopping for Black Friday I was so excited looking around for best friend gifts! One of my favorite people to shop for is my besties! It's like getting to shop for myself but seeing the joy on their face when they open my gift! 

Here are my top ideas for the best friend!

1. Ashley Brooke Designs Notebook & Mug - Ashley Brooke is my favorite. The end. She has so many adorable mugs & notebooks & notepads and is an absolute must for any best friend of mine!

2. Nordstrom cashmere scarf - These are my absolute favorite! & they are such an affordable gift!

3. C. Wonder Ikat Tea Pot Set  - I absolutely love these! Especially the adorable Ikat design!

4. Cross Training Couture Tank - So cute & encouraging!

5. Kendra Scott Hadley Bangle & Danielle Peach Rose Gold Earrings - I'm all about that rose gold! So classy & sassy!

6. Rosetta Stone - Because what could be a better gift than the gift of a language! Learn it together & you'll be able to talk in "code" all the time! 

7. Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Candle - My favorite scent!

8. Michael Kors Watch - Absolutely love this one! It's perfect for work!

9. Southwest Gift Card - To come visit obviously!!
10. Naked2 Palette - This one is my favorite! So many soft, romantic colors! 

Gift Giving Part 2 - The Entertainer

In keeping with my gift giving series - here are some ideas for the one in your life who loves to entertain! I mean don't we all!

Some of these gifts would be great host gifts for all those wonderful holiday parties we'll be attending!

1. Louisiana cutting board  - Jacob will probably die that I'm posting a Louisiana one but they have a ton of states to choose from!

4. Champagne Glasses - I'm in love with these glasses! So very posh & Gossip Girl!

6. La Marca Prosecco - Our very favorite & so affordable so great for holiday parties!...would pair perfectly with the champagne flutes!
7. Fire Pit (wood burning) - because nothing is better than a glass of wine and a crackling fire!

9. French Press - after dinner coffee & Bailey's anyone??
10. Waterford Fleur de Lys Ornament - Such a gorgeous addition to any tree!

Gift Giving Part 1 - The Chef

I get so much joy out of Christmas shopping for family and friends. I love the entire process - the picking, the wrapping, the putting under the tree & especially the opening. 

With Christmas getting closer I'm going to continue this series of gift giving. Yesterday I posted about gifts for the husband who "doesn't need anything." Today I'll be posting about gifts for the one who finds their joy in the kitchen. 

1. OXO Salad Dressing Shaker - This little gadget is perfect for creating new salad dressings on the fly!
2. Le Creuset 7-1/4Q round dutch oven - The size is big enough for anything from chili to gumbo! (I love the dune color because it can go with any kitchen!)
3. KitchenAid 5Q Mixer - Classic gift & will probably be the most used item in their kitchen! Black Friday is always the perfect day for getting these on sale. 
4. Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child - Such a great book to give as a gift or put in a gift exchange. There are some great stories & tips in there!
5. Libbey Square Glass Bowls - These are great for food preparation or presentation! They are dishwasher safe & a great addition to any kitchen. 
6. Zwilling J.A. Henckels Pure 9-Piece Knife Block Set - Includes everything you need to have the perfect knife set. Jacob & I actually have these exact knives and LOVE them!
7. Cuisinart Mini Food Processor - I actually use a chopper but this would be nice to have when you have A LOT of dicing to do! And safer too!
8. Garlic Peeler - I absolutely HATE peeling garlic but this tool makes it so quick & best part - your hands don't smell like garlic for the rest of the day!
9. Williams Sonoma Spatula's - Best ones I've ever owned! Word of warning though - the clear ones are really pretty now but a few spaghetti sauce meals and they turn that grimey orange color!
10. Christmas Calories Apron - Perfect reminder while making all those delicious holiday favorites!

31 days of happiness - day 14

Day 14

So only 11 days left until Jacob lets me decorate for Christmas!! And I know this is slightly killing him inside to decorate before Thanksgiving but since we will be traveling so much for the holidays he's making an exception! Yippee!!

The question of the season - what do you get for the person who says "Oh I don't need anything!" Cough JACOB WEAVER cough. 

He's pretty fun to shop for though because he is always so surprised since he never gives me any ideas! 

1. eBags packing cubes - These things are seriously AMAZING! They have a set of pink ones that I want for myself! 
2. Prepara Ice Ball Molds - Such a great stocking stuffer!
3. Official NFL size Wilson Football - Holding onto this has now become Jacob's "only weird if it doesn't work" tradition watching Texas Tech play. 
4. I'm Good with Math Mug - Funny because Jacob is an impeccable speller & math wizardddd.
5. J.W. Hulme Briefcase - This is a SPLURGE but so so worth it. It's such a classic look & will hold up for years to come. 
6. Under Armour Cold Gear Gloves - Could've used these last year in New York!
7. Under Armour Camo Beanie - Because my sweet hubby loves him some camo...and he looks so cute in it!
8. The 21 Indispensable Qualities of A Leader by John Maxwell 
9. Kobalt 2-Piece Magnum Grip Pliers - Or if you don't know what kind of tools he needs a Lowe's gift card works too! 
10. Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bar - Jacob's fave! Perfect stocking stuffer!
